Auditorium chairs are frequently used in our daily life, but the height of many auditorium chairs is not acceptable, and the users will feel backache after sitting for a long time. So, how can we adjust the auditorium chair to the best condition?
1. From the perspective of structural mechanics of auditorium chairs
a. Open viewing angle (back and seat opening angle): Generally, the posture for watching performances is suitable for setting at 103° (generally 105°-110°).
b. The front end of the seat: Do not press the inner side of the legs. The drooping shape of the front end can be matched according to different physique differences.
c. The height of the seat: the height of the lower leg is one centimeter, the height of the shoe (the calf is 1/4 of the body length) 410mm-460mm.
d. Neck: In order to improve the comfort from the head support to the waist, in this case, the back bone is transformed into an S shape.
2. Eye height
Close your eyes, then gradually open them so that your gaze falls roughly in the center of the display. If the direction of the display screen is too high or too low, relative adjustments must be made to reduce head and neck tendon damage and minimize the burden on the back.
3. Waist
When you sit on auditorium chairs and feel tired, you will curl up into a ball and think that is relaxing, but it is not. The body shrinking into a ball will actually increase the pressure on the waist and lumbar intervertebral discs. We can put the butt against the backrest, and if possible, put a backrest to bend the back slightly.
4. Calf
With the buttocks against the backrest, try to clench your fists to see if the fists can cross the back of the calf and the front of the table and chair to develop the space between them. If the fist cannot be easily crossed, it proves that the table and chair are too deep. At this time, the back of the table and chair should be adjusted forward or a backrest should be padded.
